Rob Grant unveils ‘Lost at Sea featuring Lana Del Rey (ANNA Remix)’

Following the release of his acclaimed debut album ‘Lost At Sea’, Rob Grant has teamed up with ANNA, to release a mesmerizing remix of his standout album track titled ‘Lost At Sea’. It is now available via Decca Records, featuring his daughter, Lana Del Rey, and the Budapest Art Orchestra. 

Lost At Sea has been magically infused with ANNA’s energy... a beautiful ambient pulse that flows through the music like an electric current. When I originally composed ‘Lost At Sea’ with Lana, my piano playing was deliberately soft and very subtle... creating a dreamscape where Lana's vocals could float ghostly over the music… like a beautiful mist. ANNA has added a little bolt of lightning!

This track deeply resonated with me when I heard it for the first time. It was already so perfect that I hesitated to consider remixing it. After listening to it on repeat, I realised I could keep the beauty of the original but also enhance it with an extra layer of euphoria and feelings of transcendence.

I processed Lana's incredible vocals using effects to add an ethereal quality to the track. I’ve also converted the piano lines from Rob into different arpeggio sequences to bring up those ecstatic moments towards the end of the song, this way I could add my signature sounds to the remix. Working on this song was truly an honour.
